Rally Sunday!
Join us on Sunday, September 24, at 9:00 a.m. for a breakfast to kick off the day.  Breakfast will be followed by our regular worship service at 10:00 a.m.  After worship, join us in the Fellowship Hall for a Ministry Fair to talk about the upcoming program year, including Adult Education and Sunday School activities!  All are welcome!

Program Year Begins!
Sunday, October 1, at 9:00 a.m. Adult Ed begins again followed by our regular 10:00 a.m. worship service.  Sunday school begins anew at 10:00 a.m. and most Sundays through June 2018.

Peace Shelter Starts Up Again!
Sunday, October 1, at 9:00 p.m. Peace Shelter begins again and will run through March 2018 every Sunday night for the men who are referred to us from St. Martin de Porres.  Arnie Walter heads up this rewarding ministry.  See the sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall for their ongoing human needs list.

Blessing of the Animals
Sunday, October 8, is the Blessing of the Animals.  Bring your furry friend to church and receive the annual blessing for your little family member.  PoP and many other churches offer this yearly blessing that includes any animal you deem a member of your family.  All are welcome!

New Member Sunday
Sunday, October 22, will be New Member Sunday where we will receive all new members into our PoP family during worship service.  If you are interested in becoming a member, please see one of our pastors to get your name added to this list.  New member classes will be held weekly up to New Member Sunday (possibly at Judkins Park for convenience).  Class schedule to be announced.

Reformation Sunday - 500 Years in the Making!
Join us Sunday, October 29, for the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  We will celebrate this great event with a Reformation Festival Luncheon and costume party (dress up as your favorite Reformation character / medieval character).  Sign ups will be available for potluck dishes leading up to this fun event - look for those!  This event will take the place of our annual Harvest Festival.

Hi-Liners Mainstage Musical "The Little Mermaid" with hosts Marilyn & Don Rova and Carol & John Gilbert.  Arrive at 6:30 pm; curtain goes up at 7 pm.

Friday, October 20
L.A.F.F. Oktoberfest at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Friday, October 27 - Time to be determined
Halloween Bunco!  PoP Fellowship Hall with hosts Barb & Bob Atkinson and Diane & Fred Pierson.

November (Date to be determined)
Midday visit to the Gates Foundation and lunch nearby.  Hosts Denise & Fred Reinke will be planning this event.  Stay tuned for more details!

Sunday, December 3
Afternoon Christmas party/potluck at the home of Julie & Art Landskov.  This may include a community choral concert at 7 pm in Federal Way.
