Can You Swing a Hammer? We Need Your help!

The First Wednesday of Each Month.  Starts at 9 am, but if you don't get there until 10 am, that is OK.  Our church is getting up in years and we need to take care of it.  Each month we gather as a team to do odd jobs around the church.

Fellowship, good, clean work and a sense of doing God's work in His house.  What more can you ask for?  Also, there will be cookies and coffee!  Contact Pastor Tollefson with questions.
Safety Committee Volunteers Needed

Earthquakes are a fact of life for us!   The Puget Sound region is crisscrossed with fault lines and in the Pacific Ocean just off our coastline there is a 700 mile long fault.  It’s not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN we will have to deal with a disaster.  The question is—will we be prepared?

A few good volunteers are needed.  We have a plan; unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated in years.  Interested, curious, or looking for a place to put your skills to work—this is the perfect opportunity for you.   Contact John Kelly or any member of the Congregational Council for more details.

Time and Talent - Opportunities to Help

We are in need of replacing our Bookkeeper for the 2018 calendar year. If you possess a working knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and are looking for a way to serve our church by volunteering, we need you!

If no volunteers come forward, we will begin the process of hiring a bookkeeper.  If you know of a bookkeeper who is interested in a part-time job, we would appreciate that as well.

The position involves approximately 15 hours per week and includes maintaining accounting records of financial transactions, and preparing disbursement checks, including congregational payroll.

It is our objective to begin the transition as soon as possible.  If you are interested and want to know more, contact John Kelly by clicking here or at (206) 683-3616 or Claudia Sawin by clicking or at (206) 947-9202.
