KID'S CLUB
KidREACH Tutoring is in its 13th year at Prince of Peace, and we are excited to be offering the valuable program again this year. The KidREACH Tutoring Program is a free, one-on-one tutoring program that is offered every Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (19030 8th Ave, SeaTac, WA. 98148). The goal of our program is to provide children with opportunities that will motivate and encourage them to succeed in school. Tutors are matched with students to help them in a variety of ways. They help them with their homework, and also help to strengthen reading and math skills. Each child’s teacher provides suggestions as to what specific areas need to be worked on, ensuring that tutors are well prepared to help make a difference for the child they are tutoring. Tutors and teachers also communicate on a regular basis to ensure the students’ needs are being met throughout the school year. Families are invited after tutoring, for a free dinner from 6:00 to 6:30p.m. (In the Fellowship Hall).
